We've all heard about the Y2K bug, well how about a Y2K-1? If you have HPUX 10.x or 11.x installed and are using SCCS as your archive engine, you have probably encountered a problem when modifying files within your Razor database. The problem will arise when modifying issues, checking files in and/or editing a thread. The error that is encountered is: format error at line 3 (co4) HP has corrected this problem in the following patches: HPUX PATCH ---- ----- 10.01 PHCO_16250 10.10 PHCO_16251 10.20 PHCO_16252 11.0 PHCO_16253
These patches are available from HP and are also located on our ftp site (ftp.visiblesystemscorp.com) in the directory HPUX/Patches.

As of November, 1998, HP has discontinued support of HPUX 9.xx. This version of the operating system will not be Y2K compliant. Feel free to check out HP's web pages (www.hp.com/year2000/products.html#hpux) for additional information.
Based on this information, approximately mid-1999, Razor will not be supported for HPUX 9.xx. We suggest that if you are still using HPUX 9.xx, you make plans as soon as possible to upgrade.
There's still time to sign-up for the training classes being offered in February. The End User and Administrator Training courses will be held February 2nd through the 5th. A new four-day course on Implementing a Process with Razor begins February 8th.
