Razor 4.2 is out!
Version 4.2 of Razor is now available. Upgrades are free for users that have current maintenance. Upgrading is easy- it keeps you current with our latest features and fixes, and makes our support staff happy. This release of Razor also includes support for Windows 2000 Server. New features of Version 4.2 include Razor SCC and Razor 2000/NT Administration tool. Before installing Razor on Windows 2000, make sure you get the latest version on our website, please notice that the old version doesn't support Windows 2000.
Our support staff would like the user community to stay current with Razor releases whenever possible. Remember that prior to upgrading you need to stop all database servers as well as the license manager. Once the upgrade is complete, restart the license manager and database servers. As always, please review the RELEASE_NOTES before upgrading. Updated Razor and IssueWeaver Manuals are available for download from our website: www.razor.visiblesystemscorp.com.

Technical Support Changes
Razor support is currently supporting 4.1g and 4.2. Our position is to support the most current version of the software and one version back. Customers contacting Support with questions who are running a Razor version prior to 4.1g will be asked to upgrade.
Technical Tip for Windows 2000/NT Installation
When installing Razor on Windows make sure you are logged on locally. In order to accomplish this first make certain to log on to your machine with the appropriate administrative privileges. This will allow Razor to read your local profile and see the administrator as the owner. At this point Razor will be able to identify the license manager and whether or not your machine is part of a Primary Domain Controller or a part of a workgroup on the network.
