VISIBLE ANALYST 7.5 SPANISH EDITION NOW AVAILABLE

A Spanish version of Visible's popular data and UML modeling tool provides a native-language user interface and complete set of documentation

WALTHAM, MA - October 23, 2001 -- Visible Systems Corporation, in partnership with Desarrollo y Servicios (Deiser), a software reseller located in Spain, has developed a version of the Visible Analyst 7.5 modeling tool for Spanish-speaking software developers. The new edition includes all powerful features of Visible Analyst 7.5 including:

· Database and application modeling
· Reverse engineering of existing databases
· Database generation for most commercial DBMS products
· UML modeling
· Traditional process modeling

"Having a Spanish version of Visible Analyst gives us a strategic advantage over our competitors," explained Bruce Fanning, Visible's Director of International Reseller Channel. "We have a growing number of customers in Spain, Mexico, and other Spanish-speaking regions, and this will provide an added benefit to our clients."

Fanning added: "Our educational clients who are teaching system courses using Visible Analyst will also benefit. Copies of Visible Analyst Student Edition bundled with Spanish textbooks will soon be available from premier publishers of college textbooks."

In simultaneous announcements, Visible unveiled new capabilities for its Visible Developer model-based code generator and its Razor software configuration management product.

Pricing and Availability

Visible Analyst 7.5 Spanish Edition, with a 12-month maintenance contract, costs between $1,295 and $3,195, based on capabilities. The product is available in an Object Oriented Edition, a Database Engineer Edition, a Corporate Edition, and a Standard Edition. Quantity volume discounts are available. Customers currently under maintenance agreements are entitled to a free upgrade. Production shipments of Visible Analyst 7.5 Spanish Edition are available now.
