Visible Systems Announces Extension of Lockheed Martin EPI Agreement.

Visible Systems Corporation Users Conference showcases Razor, its flagship software for managing both software and hardware configuration data.

ORLANDO, FL - November 18, 2003 -- Visible Systems Corporation today announced at its Razor Users Conference in Orlando, Florida that Lockheed Martin has signed an extension of its agreement with Visible to make Razor a corporate standard for Configuration Management and Problem Tracking (CM/PT) tools. Lockheed Martin is one of the world's leading aerospace and advanced technology companies. Lockheed Martin originally selected Razor in 1996 as a corporate standard, and today Razor is a key component on mission critical development efforts at General Dynamics, Integral Systems, Johnson Space Center, Orbital Science and many other aerospace and defense industry companies. The Razor product is used in over 34 different countries worldwide.

According to Visible's President, Mike Cesino, "The renewal of this agreement shows the confidence and high degree of satisfaction that Lockheed Martin has with the Razor product line. This further confirms Razor as the preeminent CM/PT tool in the aerospace and defense industry."

Razor® is an integrated suite of tools which combines a tailorable issue tracking system with traditional configuration and build coordination capabilities. During this week's conference, new features are being presented - as Razor positions itself to be the best value found in the market. Conference highlights include metrics-based CM, web-enabled system administration and monitoring; web-based version control of configuration items and a unique requirements tracability feature to aid anyone within an organization who needs to track requirements from their point of origin and throughout the application development lifecycle. As an activity-based CM/PT tool, Razor® integrates requirements within the configuration management process.

Companies in attendance included General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, NOAA, Northrop Grumman, NUWC, Perry Technologies and Roche Bio-Sciance.

"Razor offers all configuration and change management tools in a nutshell. The individual parts can be easily used either stand alone or in collaboration with other tools. The tools can be integrated easily into various platforms and the possibility to access the archive from virtually any PC is a big advantage" stated Mark Aellen, Local Head of Biometry of Actelion Pharmaceuticals ( http://www.actelion.com ).

"The Razor Unix server with the NT client works great. It's extremely easy to customize, very easy to install, very well laid out in terms of directory structure and tools", stated Vickie Slingsby, Configuration Management Coordinator for MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates ( http://www.mda.ca ).

Razor is based on a floating license scheme whereby usage is not locked to particular clients or users.
