Visible Systems Appoints Vice President of Business Development.

Visible Systems Appoints a new Vice President of Business Development for its Life Cycle Support Information System (LCSIS) product line, a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution.

LEXINGTON, MA - January 26, 2004 -- Visible Systems Corporation ( www.visiblesystemscorp.com ) announces the appointment of a new VP of Business Development. Stan Mazuroski, who has several years of experience working as a Program Manager for major Department of Defense programs, has agreed to join Visible. Mr. Mazuroski, an alumnus of the University of Connecticut, will be in charge of Visible's Life Cycle Support Information System (LCSIS) product line, the product lifecycle management (PLM) system acquired from McLaughlin Research Corporation (Middletown, Rhode Island) by Visible. LCSIS is designed to provide program managers and product engineers with a solution for managing configurations of hardware and software components - especially for that of very large complex products or systems.

Mike Cesino, President of Visible Systems stated: "We are pleased to have Stan on board with us. With his knowledge of the defense industry, he will be instrumental in helping our customers build and deliver products on time and within budget. Through his experience with products that are similar LCSIS, I believe we have a win-win scenario for our customers". LCSIS codifies lessons learned in developing and operating solutions for managing design changes to products ranging from simple electronic test sets to the U.S. Navy's world-wide inventory of torpedoes. "The appointment of Stan to manage this product line represents Visible's commitment to the configuration market place and our customers who are in that market", added Cesino.

About LCSIS. http://www.visiblesystemscorp.com/Products/Razor/LCSIS . LCSIS is a dynamic product data management system that meets the specialized needs of program and product managers of complex products. LCSIS offers a comprehensive product data structure, workflow task processing, versatile communication links, and ironclad data vaulting and access control - all in an easy to use, interactive network environment. Powerful features allow product managers and engineers to quickly gain control of their data and accelerate product delivery cycles while meeting industry standards requirements, such as ISO 9000.

LCSIS comprises product control, workflow, and process management modules. Product control provides a systematized method for developing product documentation from conceptualization to prototyping, full production, and in-service support. Built-in workflow and process management features enable users to define processes and functional relationships and track revision/version control processes. At the core of the modules is an individual workbasket orientation that furnishes task instructions and necessary supporting data to the user through easy-to-use graphic. LCSIS also enables project managers to monitor workflow processes and generate reports on task status, along with metrics in assigning workloads, monitoring performance, and improving work processes.

LCSIS runs under Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT and SUN Solaris Operating Systems. Also supported are ORACLE, SQL/Server, SQL Anywhere for enterprise data management, replication, and synchronization of multi-site or distributed product development. The product ships with a lightweight version of Microsoft SQL/Server at no additional charge.

Pricing and Availability

LCSIS represents the best value in PLM software tools found anywhere in the market. It supports a licensing scheme that is based on floating licenses whereby usage is not locked to particular clients or users. Its outstanding value and flexibility with prices start at just under $750.00 per license for a 10 User License and include relational database management software at no additional cost. LCSIS optionally ships with Myriad or can be configured to use a viewer of your own preference for the purposes of viewing and redlining engineering drawings.
