Testing Case Study 1 and 2

Segment Outline:

• The first Case Study is used to illustrate some of the problems in the development of a component-based multi-tiered web application. Included is an explanation of the developed system with its major components, the source of the components, interfaces, and issues. A number of diagrams are shown, including the Use Case, Data Flow, and Petri Net diagrams.
• The second Case Study is "Testing Analysis in a Hybrid System with Limited Data Access". This exposes some of the problems in applying testing techniques in the context of a real-world system in which not all the data was made available, while some of the data provided only in sanitized form. This example may help in situations where data is hidden, lost, or destroyed
