Customer experience demonstrates up to 95% of the business and datbase logic code in a deployed application is generated by Visible Developer.

Visible Developer generates most of your business application for you - and we have the numbers to prove it. The following table is based on an actual count of VB statements in deployed applications designed with Visible Developer. Code in layers 2 and 3 (the logical and persistence layers) is included; user interface code contained in VB forms is not included.

Code in the deployed application was separated into two groups: code generated by Visible Developer, and custom code written by a programmer. Custom code is the unique business rule logic and is easily identified because it is placed in a separate 'rule' class. To arrive at the amount of custom code in the deployed applications, we counted the statements in each rule class that were not generated by Visible Developer.

The result is very impressive. In both cases, over 95% of the business and database logic was generated by Visible Developer. Programmers only had to hand code the remaining 5%.
