The Future of Razor ©

Visible's strategy is to develop an integrated product suite that combines Razor© with the features of Visible's other products and the most commonly used Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) of Microsoft, IBM and Rational.

The most important developments will include integration and touch points between Razor's issues management and requirements capture and analysis; between Razor's version control and software component design and development; and between Razor's thread management and code generation. This is consistent with the overall Visible product direction of integrating all components of the software development lifecycle -- requirements, definition, design, development, generation, and release.

Razor© will also have the capability to report extensive metrics data. Through a planned integration with "MetricCenter" software, the integration will greatly enhance Razor's value to companies interested in achieving CMM and ISO 9000 certification. Metrics data will be provided for Project Scheduling, Requirements Engineering, Code Analysis, Defect Tracking, and Risk Management.
